the Victorian mantel or table clock of architectural design, the break-arch case with four fruiting finials, with carved and pierced frets to the sides and raised on four gadrooned feet, the arched dial with engraved gilt mask, with silvered Roman chapter ring below two subsidiary dials for strike / silent and slow / fast, the twin fusee movement with anchor escapement striking on a coiled gong, with pendulum and winder,
